What is Mind Mail?

Mind Mail, serves as a unique digital pen pal platform designed to create meaningful connections between students who share similar coping mechanisms and who face common challenges throughout school and life.

Our platform has a broader mission: to combat the stigma associated with stress and serve as a mental health checkpoint for teenagers. 

​

What sets us apart?

1. Can be beneficial to talk about academic stress before it gets serious enough to see a professional

2. Day to day preventative approach (preventing from even more stress or escalated situations)

3. Approaching adults can be intimidating, because students often don't want to make a situation a "big deal"

How it works

1. Sign up with our form

2. In 1-5 business days you will receive your match! this is based on your type of academic stress and coping mechanisms used for this stress.

​

3. A dedicated group chat will be made (with a fun icebreaker)

​

4. Your partner and pairing will rotate every two-four weeks, introducing you to other students who can help you de-stigmatize academic stress and resonate with you. You'll have the opportunity to keep in touch with your previous partner.

5. You are always given the choice to opt out, or report someone who is not following the terms and conditions, or making you feel unsafe.
